Question 1

What is Ozync?

Accepted Answer

Ozync turns any iPad into a self-service check-in kiosk for salons, barbershops, and beauty studios — guests check in by QR code, a TV display shows the live queue, and SMS tells them when it's their turn. A walk-in waitlist, digital waivers, and built-in card payments are included, and it handles online appointments and a booking website too.

Question 2

How much does Ozync cost?

Accepted Answer

Pro is $15/month billed annually, or $19.99 month-to-month, in the US, and priced for your country elsewhere. There are no per-booking or commission fees.

Question 3

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ozync is free for your first 25 guests, with full access and no credit card required.

Question 4

Does Ozync charge per-booking or commission fees?

Accepted Answer

No. Ozync is a flat monthly subscription — you keep 100% of what you charge your clients.

Question 5

What devices does Ozync work on?

Accepted Answer

Ozync runs on iPad and iPhone, Android, and any web browser. Guests book and check in from their own phones.

Question 6

Can I take both walk-ins and appointments?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Walk-ins and advance reservations share one queue, so you can run your front desk from a single screen.
